Mr. Steinfeld is an honors graduate of Johns Hopkins University and received his law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1985. He is admitted to the N.J. State and Federal District Courts, the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court. He was an Assistant Deputy Public Defender with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, Appellate Section, from 1985 to 1988, handling Criminal Appellate work in the Appellate Division, New Jersey Supreme Court, and Federal District Court. From 1988 until joining Rem, Zeller in 1994, Mr. Steinfeld practiced criminal defense and civil litigation with prominent firms and attorneys in Northern New Jersey.
