New Jersey man suspected of serial murders

A man in New Jersey who is accused of killing two people is also a suspect in multiple other murders. According to reports, there is an active investigation into whether this 20-year-old man from Orange is a serial killer.

The man is already accused of strangling two women, a 33-year-old, also from Orange, and a 20-year-old whose vehicle was located in the same city. He is also being investigated for the killing of a Philadelphia prostitute whose burned remains were left in a deserted building in Orange. In each of the cases, the women abruptly disappeared and their corpses were discarded by the killer in the Orange area.

The 33-year-old victim was last seen on Oct. 22, and her body was located in a vacant home on Dec. 5. The 20-year-old was last seen alive on Nov. 2, and her remains were found on Dec. 1 inside the 400-acre county park Eagle Rock Reservation underneath debris and leaves.

The second victim and the accused killer are believed to have known one another and were seen together at multiple locations in the city on the same day of her disappearance. It is not believed that they were romantically involved.

The alleged killer has entered a plea of not guilty to the murder charges and is still in jail on $5 million bail. According to his attorney, the evidence against him is purely circumstantial. The police have not commented on a possible motive for the murders.
